   “Handle with Love” read the label on the shipping box. This is a quality sculpture you will display “with love” as well.

   First, kudos to Modern Artisans for wonderful packing. The piece was wrapped in a protective foamy cover, taped up, and then tucked away in pillows of thick, brown packing paper. Despite the product being made of steel (literally), they treated it as if it were glass.

   The actual piece of artwork leaves nothing to be desired–it is exactly as shown and described. There are two groved mountings on the frame to ensure a sturdy, level display (one set for vertical mounting and one for horizontal). The frame is about an inch deep so that, when hung, the piece creates a shadowbox-like effect. It weighs 5-6 pounds, which (coupled with the set of mountings) makes it easy to hang with just a couple of nails–no expensive mounting equipment or stud-finding is needed. You’re just a couple of hammers away from instant gratification.

   Included in the packaging was a nice note about the sculpture and other Modern Artisan products. They really make some beautiful, high-quality things. I would highly recommend this piece of art as well as the seller. And I absolutely can’t wait to show off my unique wall sculpture and let the compliments come pouring in!
