This is a piece of crap!!. I needed a replacement clock for my office space and this looked like what I wanted to go in the space. It arrived.. I put in BRAND new batteries and it WOULD NOT WORK!!!!! The second hand would go HALF way around the clock and then STOP! i wanted to return for a FULL refund..but there was no information in the package for returning! So I am stuck with the clock that DOES NOT work and I still have no clock in my office space.
I have used Westclox for years and they were a good product.
This Westclox clock always stopped on me, I took it apart thinking
the hands were too tight but it was actually the mechanism itself.
With inferior quality control it would be best to look locally
that way you still have options to return instead of trashing the
product because it is not worth the money or time to ship back.
Clock was shipped out to me fast and packaged very well. Cost of item and shipping charges were very reasonable. I was very happy with the transaction.
Overall, nothing is wrong with this clock. It has great color, nice big numbers so that we can see it clearly. The only major problem is the tick tock sounds which are sometimes disturbing but you can get used to it very quickly because almost all clock sound the same.
I found it a little hard to get the battery in and the battery compartment doesn’t seem real secure to me. Also, it isn’t hanging flat on my wall, I think I need to have the nail stick a little farther out from the wall to compensate for the battery sticking a little to far out on the back. Once the battery and hanging issues are resolved, the clock works great. It’s easy to read, keeps great time. Be careful to get an actual 10″ clock. Some say they are 10″ and are actually only 8″, which is really small. The 10″ is small, but fine for a kitchen or kids room. I think it’s a great clock, and I think the price makes it a good buy.
